The Park Vista Hotel

sunny 50 °C

The Park Vista hotel was easy to find I took one turn off the Main Street and followed it still the road ended. Directly in front of me where two posted nestled into the base of the hill. Stretched crossed the road was the hotel sign. At first glance it reminded me of an old dude ranch. I continued driving, straight-up a steep incline that gradually started winding around the hill. Located at the top was The Park Vista. The panoramic views of
The Great Smoky Mountains was awesome. Just what I need to see after driving through downtown Gatlinburg, TN and all of its chaos.

As I enter the hotel lobby I noticed an open format with several different areas for guest to set depending on their mood. With a computer cafe slightly tucked away but, out in the open was a nice touch. Neutral colors and soft lighting to created a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

Checking in was seamless and quick, the clerk was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I was given there signature homemade chocolate chip cookies. Let me just say, they were delicious. If your on a diet I don't suggest having one, each cookie has 310 calories. Side note the container is made out of recycled paper and biodegradable.

My room was on the eleventh floor, I had a little difficult unlocking the door. Happy to say that was, the only issue with the hotel. The room was modern and had all the usual amenities minus a microwave in the room. A king size bed with a classic european bedding which made for a comfortable night. The balcony was privacy with a view of The Great Smoky Mountains and downtown Gatlinburg.

Please following me on my adventures in Gatlinburg, TN!!!
